Heart's Reawakening through Love (Sonnet)

Upon shattered heart, a broken state I knew,
In fragments strewn, my sorrows took their toll,
Yet from the fray, one maiden's courage grew,
To mend the pieces, make my spirit whole.

With daring steps, she ventured to my side,
Collecting shards, unyielding to the pain,
Her touch, a balm, my wounds it did provide,
And in her care, my heart began to gain.

Her fingers brushed my thumb, a shiver ran,
A spark ignited, flames of love anew,
Our breaths in sync, a dance of souls began,
In close embrace, emotions ever true.

A love reborn, defying past despair,
Her kiss, a sweet elixir, mending rare.
